Tweelin Enterprise Deployment Guide

This document guides the enterprise admin of a Microsoft customer tenant through the typical process of deploying and adopting Tweelin’s Digital Serendipity, including mobile apps for Android and iOS, and telemetry agents for Windows and MacOS.

The process outlined in this document should be considered a guideline. We invite you to customize the adoption roadmap to better meet your organization’s needs.

Before you start...

  1. Make sure you are a Microsoft 365 and Teams administrator.
  2. Make sure you have started a Tweelin Free Trial or purchased the desired amount of licenses.

Process Overview: 5-Day Suggested Adoption Roadmap

DAY 1- Announce new tool or trial

A good way to start the adoption process is by announcing the upcoming Tweelin trial or production deployment to all the users involved.

In order to make your life easier, we have collected a series of email templates you can use.

DAY 1- Schedule power user training

Who are the users that would immediately benefit from using Tweelin?

Based on our experience, power users are often:

  • Motivated employees reaching out to other people in the organization to move forward projects, programs and critical initiatives.
Typical roles: Project Managers, Program Managers, Partner Managers and more.
  • Leaders without an executive assistant, whose roles require frequent status updates and quick decisions to achieve ambitious collective goals.
Typical roles: Sales Managers, Sales Directors and more.
  • Customer-facing professionals who often have to consult with internal subject matter experts to timely fulfill customer requests for support or proposals.
Typical roles: Account Executives, Customer Success Managers and more.

Once you identify your power users, schedule a 15 min training session to show them “what’s in it for them”. This will increase the odds of success of the initiative.

DAY 1- Deploy Tweelin for Microsoft Teams - 15 min

Now, let’s proceed with deploying Tweelin for Microsoft Teams for all the employees involved.

Please, note that deploying Tweelin requires creating policies in the Microsoft Teams admin center. Such policies may take up to 72 hours to propagate to the end users.

DAY 2 - Deploy the Telemetry Agents

In order to allow Tweelin to find the right moments to connect your users, it is necessary to install the Telemetry Agents for Windows and Mac OS.

Both agents are extremely lightweight and support remote silent installation through the most common Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT).

DAY 5 - Announce Tweelin availability

Once the 72 hours of policy propagation time are past, you can announce the availability of Tweelin to your end users.

Please note: policies may not promptly propagate for users who turn out to be offline on Teams, seldom resulting in propagation times longer than 72 hours.

DAY 5 - Promote Tweelin for mobile

Let all the users know that Tweelin is also available for mobile phones and articulate the advantages of the Tweelin native apps for Android and iOS.

In case your company provides smartphones to the employees, you might want to consider installing the Tweelin mobile apps through your MDM tool of choice.
